Rental Terms
Please read carefully our car hire terms and conditions.
1. Rental Agreement
The Renter confirms hereby that before taking delivery of the car, has examined it and found it without any defects, except for those referred to in the present Agreement.
2. Insurance
Please visit our Insurance Policy.
3. Driver
Only the persons referred to in this Agreement are allowed to drive the car.
The will not be operated:
a) For paid transportation,
b) To propel or to any vehicle transport,
c) In any race, speed test or contests,
d) By any person under the influence of intoxicants or narcotics,
e) To carry passengers in excess of the respective seating capacity,
f) In other than a paved road or public highway,
g) By any less than 23 years of age or unqualified licensed driver
4. License
Τhe driver of a car rental must have held a full driver’s license for at least 2 years or more, which must be submitted upon delivery of the car rental. Otherwise our company reserves the right not to deliver the car rental or impose additional costs.
National driving licenses from EU and UK are accepted.
For guests from the USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and other non-EU countries International Driving Permit (IDP) is mandatory.
For countries that have signed the Vienna Convention an IDP is not mandatory.
Country Driver Must Hold:
a) National Driving License
EU Nationals (including Norway, Iceland, United Kingdom of Great Britain and N. Ireland, Switzerland & Liechtenstein nationals)
b) Only card-type National Driving License
Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bahamas, Bahrain, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Brazil, Central African Republic, Chile, Costa Rica, Côte d’Ivoire, Cuba, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Ecuador, Georgia, Ghana, Guyana, Holy See, Indonesia, Iran (Islamic Republic of), Iraq, Israel, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Kuwait, Kyrgyzstan, Liberia, Mexico, Monaco, Mongolia, Montenegro, Morocco, Niger,Pakistan, Peru, Philippines,Qatar, Republic of Korea, Republic of Moldova, Russian Federation, San Marino, Saudi Arabia, Senegal, Serbia, Seychelles, South Africa, Tajikistan, Thailand, North Macedonia, Tunisia, Turkey, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, United Arab Emirates, Uruguay, Uzbekistan, Venezuela (Bolivarian Republic of), Vietnam, Zimbabwe
c) Both National AND International Driving License
All other countries
5. Vehicle’s Condition
The Renter will return the vehicle concerned with all tires, tools, accessories and equipment at the station or the town where the car was rented or as otherwise specified on the undersigned pages of the Agreement. Amendment of the rental period is under the lessor’s approval.
6. Vehicle Maintenance
The Renter agrees to take good care of the vehicle checking the oil, water, tire pressure and all the necessary for the good maintenance of the vehicle even when it is not in use.
7. Repairs or Replacement of Parts
Repairs or replacement of parts have to be done whenever possible at the nearest dealer under contract to the lessor. Refund of expenses is made against receipts but replaced parts have to be returned with the car. This office or its branches are not liable to the renter or the passengers, for any kind of inconvenience caused through mechanical break downs or accidents.
8. Personal Liability
The Renter expressly acknowledges personal liability to pay lessor on demand:
a) The rental period and miscellaneous charges at the rate specified on the pages of this agreement and the cost of the gasoline used.
b) All fines and court costs assessed against the vehicle, renter or lessor concerning any legal violation during the term of this agreement.
9. Tires, wheels and damages under the car
Tires, wheels and damages under the car are not covered by any insurance.
10. Jurisdiction
In case of difference between the contracted parties, the Greek Courts only will have jurisdiction.
11. Ferrying the car
Ferrying the car is not allowed without prior written authorization of our company. For the written authorization and the insurance coverage
for out of the island there is an extra charge of 120€.
12. Cancellation Policy
All rentals have free cancellation 48 hours prior to arrival.
For cancellations within 48 hours, 30% of the rental total cost will be charged.
13. Refunds
No credit will be given for the unused portion of the Rental Period.
